Seventeen days and 15 nights immersing yourself in the rich heritage, traditions, and natural wonders of Viet Nam, Cambodia, and Thailand, while luxe accommodations await you in every stop.
Your grand tour of Viet Nam's, Cambodia's and Thailand's cities begins at the alluring Vietnamese capital city of Hanoi. The “Paris of the East” reveals a design and charm that belongs to both East and West through its broad boulevards, ancient pagodas, French-colonial era architecture, and scenic lakes.
Next, you’ll behold one of Viet Nam’s most spectacular panoramas when you reach Ha Long Bay. Board a luxurious, classic junk that transports you to another world – where thousands of limestone islands rise from emerald waters; and where jagged cliffs, grottos, and hidden caves wait to be explored.
You’ll also get to see the extraordinary beauty and heritage of ancient Hoi An, with a walking tour of its superbly preserved Old Quarter and a private cooking class afterward. At the pulsating city of Ho Chi Minh, you’ll step back in time with an exclusive lecture and tour of the city by noted historian and author Tim Doling, with stops at landmark buildings such as the neoclassical Central Post Office, the Opera House, and the Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral.
Your holiday continues at Siem Reap, the gateway to Cambodia’s UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor. End your first full day watching a glorious sunset from the deck of a traditional Khmer boat, as you float of the serene waters of the moat of Angkor Thom. Take a detour to Tonle Sap Lake to observe local life, and turn back to see the jungle temple of Ta Prohm and the majestic Angkor Wat.
Next you'll fly to Chiang Mai, Thailand’s “Rose of the North.” Enjoy an evening city tour on a traditional tuk tuk to see the city’s magnificent temples, iconic landmarks, and its bustling all-night market. You’ll also visit an Elephant Training Center and ride the gentle giants through the forest.
After arriving in Bangkok, you’ll see Thailand’s vibrant capital city in glittering lights as you experience a private dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River. Take your time wandering through Bangkok's temples and colorful markets before you end your tour.
