This 8-day, 7-night tour visits lakes, beaches and seashores around Southeast Asia, from Malaysia's Port Dickson to Viet Nam's grand Ha Long Bay.
Spend a week next to the sea, as you embark on a tour filled with leisurely cruises and luxurious resorts over water. From Malaysia's Port Dickson to Viet Nam's Ha Long Bay, this wet and wild itinerary is one for the books!
After flying into Kuala Lumpur, you'll be transferred immediately to Port Dickson, a beach town where you can indulge in water sports like water-skiing, snorkeling and windsurfing under the auspices of the luxurious Grand Lexis Port Dickson resort.
You'll also take a ferry cruise from Port Klang to Pulau Ketam – translated as “Crab Island” - where picturesque islets and mangrove trees serve as a backdrop to a rural experience amidst fishing villages, topped with a rustic dinner of freshly-caught seafood.
Southwest of Kuala Lumpur, the Kuala Selangor Wetland Reserve offers views of mangrove forests as far as the eye can see; after dark, the fireflies emerge, transforming the wetlands with floating pinpoints of light.
Crossing borders to Viet Nam, you'll start this leg of the trip with a tour of the capital Hanoi, exploring Ba Dinh Square and its highlights: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace and Uncle Ho's Stilt House, and One Pillar Pagoda.
You'll make your way next to Viet Nam's most scenic UNESCO World Heritage site: Ha Long Bay, where you'll cruise around the magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations through day and night.
End your tour back at Hanoi, where you'll visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake) and shop at the ancient but still busy Old Quarter.
