Take a 9-day/8-night excursion through three countries and innumerable experiences in Bangkok and Pattaya, Thailand; Siem Reap and Phnom Penh in Cambodia; and Ho Chi Minh City in Viet Nam
What better way to start a trip around some of Southeast Asia’s prominent cities, but in Bangkok? Your first step into the Thailand capital will immediately have you rolling in laughter courtesy of Cookin’ Nanta Show, considered one of the world’s best comedy musicals in the city.
You’ll also get to enjoy a cruise along the busy Chao Phraya River and the colorful canals in the Thonburi area aboard a long-tail motor boat. Aside from seeing the scenery of Thai life along the banks, there are also many magnificent temples and architectural spectacles to behold along the way: the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, the Old Customs House, and Royal Barges Museum, among others.
Plus, your Thailand stopover won’t be complete without some time allocated for shopping and a trip to the night market in Bangkok and a day to experience one of the country’s resort cities, Pattaya.
From Thailand, you’ll cross the border to Cambodia where you’ll spend two nights in Siem Reap. The charming little city is your jump-off point to the ancient city of Angkor where you’ll get to check off your bucketlist stepping foot into Angkor Wat and a few of the other centuries-old temples surrounding it.
Next, you’ll experience the Khmer city life in Phnom Penh. In Cambodia’s capital, you’ll see more historic structures like the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the art deco building of the Central Market (where you can also satisfy any shopping craving).
For your last stop, hit Viet Nam’s bustling Ho Chi Minh City where speeding motorcycles and beautiful French architecture are a common sight. You’ll visit many of the city’s popular spots: the splendid Notre Dame Cathedral, the Municipal Post Office, Reunification Palace, Thien Hau Temple, Giac Lam Pagoda, marketplaces and workshops.
